making and selling aromatherapy products

I trained as an advanced aromatherapist 9 years ago then 4 years ago gave it all up as started a family etc. Now i am ready to make and sell my own aromatherapy products but am out of the scene so don't know the rules and laws about it. Wou;d I need to have products certified? Can someone recommend where I can get advice for this? Many thanks
