VTCT Level 3 body Massage can I work in Hospice?

I am studying for the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage. it includes A & P Level 3. I have previous experience working in cancer and will do more specific cancer massage training. Can I work in cancer care / hospice setting with this qualification? There is the option to do the ITEC Level 3 Holistic Massage Diploma International qualification at the end of the course. Should I do this, or is there no need if I have the VTCT? Thanks NW

Hi there Understand you'd only want an ITEC qualification if you intend to practice abroad Regarding working with cancer patients, I'd recommend attending further training. I'm going to attend two workshops as i'm interested in the palliative care field. Happy to share the details if you're interested Regards Maria

This is one of them, there's a posting in the events section of this forum: www.stchristophers.org.uk/education/course/cancer-and-palliative-care-for-complementary-therapists
