registration as self-employed freelance massage therapist
which is the registration I should apply to become a self-employed therapist?

don't quite follow your question - your course should have covered the business aspects of running your business as a self employed person regarding insurance and professional association membership (eg CThA, FHT etc), and you need to register with the income tax office
I'm wondering if the registration I have to do is the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
thank you very much
yes, you then get sent a tax return form each year and it's a good idea to get someone qualified to help you with making sure you claim all allowable expenses - again, your course should have covered this. You don't need to pay an accountant a whole lot of money to do this, especially if you keep all your records and reciepts.
Hi Federico. You can ring up inland revenue and say you need to register as self-employed (schedule D) and they should be able to talk you through doing it.
Search for a helpline number forInland Revenue self-employed helpline.
