New CThA Certificate
Hi all.
At the sunday meeting I mentioned that my new CTha certificate arrived and that the therapy that I practice was not shown on it.
I sent an email to the CThA asking if they had made a mistake. Below is their reply.
Hi George
The document you have received is correct as the CThA membership certificate is now a general membership certificate. Your treatments will still be listed on the embodyforyou website and your insurance schedule.

I have to admit I'm not very impressed.

I agree and as far as I am aware there was no consultation regarding the change.
This is now a very non-discript certificate. It could be for anything.
I have already had one client ask me why my therapy was not shown on my certificate.
I totally agree. I asked this question earlier in the year as I had other qualifications to add to mine. This certificate means I can have one document on my wall in my treatment room to clarify my qualifications. I'm not impressed in the least and think its a very poor show on CTha's part.
I am going to join ICNM we will wait and see what their certificate shows!

George, I've had a chat to our regional co-ordinator about the situation. She has kindly offered to speak to Head Office directly about this and I just wanted to let you know that someone from Head Office will be in touch soon to discuss things in more detail.
