Local meetings November 2007 to February 2008

Dear All Next meeting Tuesday 20 November 2007. At our recent meeting, we decided we'd meet up at the Cornwall College Complementary Health Community Network and Focus Group event to be held at the Penhaligon Building Conference Rooms from 5.30 on 20 November. The speaker will be Annie Hallett from Penny Brohn Cancer Care (formerly Bristol Cancer Help Centre)and she will be talking about the impact of complementary therapies (particularly aromatherapy) on cancer. There is a free buffet if you are able to arrive around 5.30, but you need to book this direct with Sarah Greenhalgh at the College by next Monday 12 November. Sarah can be contacted on 01209 617625 or email sarah.greenhalgh@cbs.ac.uk. Please mention our local group so Sarah knows how you heard about it. I have cleared it with her that it is OK for us to attend. Christmas Meeting Wednesday 12 December 2007 Put the date in your diary now! Still thinking about this one, but the consensus at the last meeting was that we should meet up for a Christmas celebration of some sort. Watch this space for further details. We would like to increase the number of practitioners attending our meetings, so it's been suggested we each bring a new person to the meeting. The Christmas one might not be the easiest to do this, but non-members are welcome. First meeting of 2008 - Tuesday 5 February at 7pm. Venue to be confirmed. Speaker: Francis Potts - 'Rock and Roll - massage beyond rubbing' We would like to increase the numbers of practitioners attending our meetings, so please try to bring a new person if you weren't able to before.
