Following a stunningly effective course last year Carol Chinnick, Sports Physiotherapist specialist is here again. An opportunity for Massage Graduates to extend their practice incorporating VERY deep tissue, specialist techniques. These will add incredible potential to your massage treatments.
The focus is practical skills, working on each other identifying areas requiring deeper tissue work. These techniques are highly effective in easing severe tension, treating injuries and preventing the development of and loosening scarred tissue. Cost £65 payable in full.

THE ORIGINAL THERMO-AURICULAR THERAPY FOUNDATION COURSE
Sunday 6th April 08 @ The Beeches, Newtonmore
Thermo-Auricular® Therapy is the professional use of Hopi Ear Candles, used to aid relaxation, relief of Ear, Nose & Throat conditions and associated problems. This post graduate course (CDP 5 points) is both theoretical and practical in content. The intention is to train you, a practitioner already experienced in other complementary therapies, in the techniques and science of Thermo-Auricular Therapy. You will learn which conditions are suitable for treatment and any contra-indications.
It is hoped that you will find the day enjoyable as well as informative. There is a test of both your theoretical understanding and your practical proficiency at the end of the day. On successful completion of assessment and case studies, a certificate will be awarded by the originators of this therapy which is recognised by all the major UK therapy insurance bodies. Advanced training is also available. Deposit £35, Balance £75. Includes colour manual & materials for training day.

WHERE TO FIND THE BEECHES
The Beeches is situated a few moments off the A9 in a location of great natural beauty and tranquillity on the fringes of Newtonmore village in the Highlands. It is only 10 minutes walk to the village centre and is easily found on both rail and bus routes. It is off to the left of Station Road on the way down to the train Station and has a sign in the grounds by the wide vehicular gate. It has its own private drive and ample parking round the perimeter of the property.
