Next Embody Meeting 22nd November
Hi everyone
Our next CThA meeting is at St Margaret's Church Crypt on Saturday 22nd November, from 10am till 12 noon.
The subject of the meeting this time will be a discussion on the continuation of the Tayforth Group. Val and I have held the reins for the last 6 years and we have both decided to step down.
The main reason for our resignation is that over the last 18 months the numbers have been decreasing steadily despite having good speakers or mini workshops and recently we have had more non Embody members attending than members.
It would be a real shame for the Group to fold as it is a very good way to meet up with fellow therapists and as you know, our line of work can be very isolating. However, we both feel that there is no more that we can do to entice members to attend, so why don't you come along to discuss the way forward.
Regards
Annette and Val

Would love to come, but have to work on Saturday mornings! I would also come to your meetings, if I knew about them! I for one am not a great forum browser. I take more notice of emails, which pop up in front of me, rather than having to remember to log in and search for stuff. Maybe sending out a regular email to members would be a help in getting people to come to meetings?
Hi Tracey
Like you I'm not one for Forums either. I keep forgetting it's there!! We do actually send out an email through the Embody website for every meeting, so you should have been getting them, although sometimes I feel it doesn't work as well as it should. Because it's done through the website, I have no idea how many people there are in the group. This one will probably be the last one anyway as I don't expect anybody to take on the role of co-ordinator, unfortunately Thanks for getting in touch.
Hi Annette. That's such a shame. Perhaps the CThA need to have a look at the website emails and perhaps re-jig them? I do hope someone takes up the challenge of running the group.
Hi Annette & Val - I will be there on the 22nd. Such a shame the group might fold as you and Val have done such a fantastic job as joint coordinators. Well done and thank you both for all your hard work - Hazel x
