WATSU
Hello Everyone!
Does anyone know where I could rent a small pool (or part of a larger pool) in which to give WATSU sessions? It needs to be about 9ft by 18ft (min) and warmer than a normal swimming pool. I live near Kinross but anywhere between Edinburgh and Perth and surrounding locations would be considered. I've made enquiries with some hotels and private gyms but they need constant access to the whole pool for their clients etc. Many thanks!

Christine - what about trying the Local Councils for the use of their pools for a set period during the day? There are also the University Sports Clubs. You might also like to contact a Watsu therapist I used to know in Glasgow (she's probably on the practitioner register). I can only remember her first name - Marie. She might have some ideas.

HI Christine
Not sure if it will be of any help but we use Lochgelly High School Pool each saturday for canoe coaching. Am unsure of what their programme is but might be worth a try.
Another unsure is if will be warm enough for you - sometimes its warmer than others!!!!!! Just usual pool temperature I would have thought!!
We are in the water for 2 hours (canoe coaching generally means we're not in a canoe!!) so I tend to wear wetshorts & a thermal top to ensure a bit of warmth BUT those that are in short term seem to be ok!
Cardenden also has a pool that we have used in the past as does Burntisland - the latter is fairly well booked up I think though between swmming club & diving & public use!!
Rosyth seems to come to mind from conversations in the past - part of the base I think - also Carnegie in Dunfermline has a few different pools!!
None might be of use but one just might be - good luck in your quest
