Has anybody come across this before?

Hi there I recently did a reflexology treatment on a lady focusing on her sinuses as she has the remnants of a cold with a cough. Following the treatment her one foot became red hot including red skin colour and her other became cold. This only lasted for about 30 mins. I asked her if she had any circulatory problems but she said that she didn't have. Has anybody experienced anything like that or have any ideas as to the meaning? Also following the reflexology I did some aura cleansing on this lady and she felt that the areas of imbalance were cold but it was a nice refreshing cold. I also used coloured silks throughout both treatments. I would be grateful of any comments/ideas. Many thanks. Lisa
